My issue is that after updating to version 7.4.2 the adverts on the first line in Yahoo Mail folders are no longer able to be blocked. On the previous version (7.3) the adverts were easily blocked using the Assistant. I added Adguard Annoyances Filter at the advice of Adguard Customer Services but this didn't help. I don't know what the WPF Filter is, so have entered no in the questionnaire. I have left the software default apart from adding the Adguard Annoyances Filter, and trying to block Yahoo Mail folder adverts with Assistant.

I can't reproduce it, this ad is hidden by this rule on my end: mail.yahoo.com#?#a[href^="https://beap.gemini.yahoo.com/mbclk?"][target="_blank"]

Yep, only Extended CSS can by applied by the apps. Forgot that.

I'm still seeing the advertisement bar above my emails, which didn't happen before the recent upgrade.

I'm still having the problem with the ad bar appearing above my emails, which didn't happen before the adguard upgrade. Is this email to notify of a problem resolved on your end because it's not resolved on my (the customer's) end.

@emberweave I am not sure if previous will work. Probably ad just updated.

In any case you can add old versions here: https://github.com/AdguardTeam/AdguardForWindows/releases
