I have been trying to find a way to block the annoying "Featured" content and "Youtube Movies" banners on the youtube homepage as often filtering them also filtered the entire page.

I've carefully removed one element at a time from the banners and achieved a continuous feed of only recommended videos, no featured content or movies for sale, with the below filters:
