If the issue doesn't reproduce then try to go to a reddit post though Google search results and as soon as you click the Reddit post link in the Google search results the issue should reproduce (the post was served through Google AMP). Note that refreshing the Reddit post does make the open-in-app banner go away but if you go through Google search results the banner appears.
