TL;DR in the end. This issue is a compatibility issue when Adguard Android is set as a VPN service and Clash for Android as proxy server (localhost port) and Adguard DNS filtering turned on and only IPv4 (in reality) are available.

Most of the times Adguard is working correctly, DNS is resolving IPv4 records only and pass it along to Clash proxy server. However, issues like this happen and Adguard suddenly would resolve IPv6 records and pass that to proxy, which neither the proxy nor my internet connection support IPv6. This would result in an error message of IP version error in my proxy software log, which in turn the connection won't be handled correctly.

I would propose a switch that can let us manually specify IP protocol (IPv4/IPv6 only, or mixed).

TL;DR: an unexpected event caused Adguard to not recognize the IPv4 connect w/ proxy server, keep resolve and pass IPv6 addresses to proxy, which caused proxy to stop working.

I'm constantly getting google captcha when searching on google - INCREDIBLY ANNOYING! It started when I installed AdGuard on mac.

Please contact me and help me fix the issue. I've purchased the license but with recaptcha, it's really hard to use this.

Thank you @krystian3w for your kind suggestion, that filter rule does its job very well. Hopefully it'll be included in the "official" Adguard Annoyance stack sooner rather than later.

I get ads when searching for pretty much anything on google. You can see them there in the picture before the actual search results. They are finnish ads (I'm from Finland). I've been getting these ads for maybe few months. Didn't have this problem before.

When you search for something and press enter to load the results it first shows the results page correctly without any ads for maybe half a second but then it looks like it reloads the page and puts the ads there.

All the "results" shown on Google are ads.. I have to scroll way down to see actual search results. AdGuard does not seem to remove them.

Cannot reproduce with your settings. Please try to disable-enable content blockers in Safari settings and restart Safari, and check for filters update. Do not close AdGuard window 30-60 seconds, because iOS will breaks configuration process.

The "News" section of Google.com (and Google.de, which I also checked) displays a big "cookie info" banner atop of the search results, which just occupy space and should get hidden.

Not reproduced without AdGuard with German VPN. @BlazDT please take a look.
