I don't seem to be able to reproduce the breakage with uBlock Origin, at least.

And while setting up testing with AdGuard, I saw a much bigger issue I had to attend to (All versions of AdGuard were discarding the $doc rules in Nordic Filters, so now I need to wait a couple hours before AdGuard uploads my $doc → $document fix to their hosting of my list).

And was it clear from my description, that it was this screen that was/is the issue?!? Also, it only started recently, but I haven’t changed any settings prior to it beginning, so I always assumed it was an update on their behalf.

I can see the problem in your screencap, but I don't have the same problem on my PC. So this would require extensive additional testing from the AdGuard team and/or me, and I'm short on time today.

I can't reproduce this with "AdGuard for Windows" (The paid desktop version of AdGuard) either, so I'll leave this one to the AdGuard team to look into.

@birksted Hi. Sorry for the late reply. I cannot check on my end, but it seems this is caused by Ghostery, which also blocks some domains and anti-adblcoker may be triggered.

I removed ghostery some time ago, issue still persists :/

No dice I’m afraid. I tried all the three rules separately, together and all the various combinations. Depending on the configuration, sometimes it would play the first few frames of the video and then skip to ads. Other times It would seem as if no adblock was detected, but when pressing play ads would still start. Finally, the grey screen in the screen dumps was the final option.

I am not sure if I have underlined this yet, but about a month ago or so, it did work perfectly
