*/showAds.js$match-case,domain=hentai2read.com

That is ad-blocker check and has nothing to do with ads, see actual contents of the script and do not judge by path name.

Alex-302 commented 3 years ago

It seems this is caused by SSL/HTTPS filtering by ESET nod32

TommyKing commented 3 years ago

sorry, just checked. it is not because of NOD32. i still get it when i disabled its protection

nod32 and adguard enabled

Alex-302 commented 3 years ago

@TommyKing Please click on the lock in the address bar and make screenshot of SSL certificate details. Also pelase open source code of the page and make screenstot of very first screen.

TommyKing commented 3 years ago

yes ofcourse. here it is issuer source cert details

Alex-302 commented 3 years ago

@TommyKing Thanks. The page is filtered by AdGuard, I see injections. Please open dev tools(F12) and go to Network tab, reproduce an issue and make screenshot like that image

I guess when you checked without NOD32, traffic was still filtered by it.

TommyKing commented 3 years ago

networks

here it is,

@Alex-302 alex, i uninstalled Eset just to test if the Eset web module is the culprit.. the result is no, the ads placeholder is still there. hope this information cleared suspicion about Eset. thank you

TommyKing commented 3 years ago
