Filtering UWP/Store applications #5123

Issue Details

I was wondering the best way to achieve this. I know there is the WWAHost.exe entry in the Filtered Apps, but my system no longer ever runs WWAHost.exe. On Windows 11 Pro at least. I am currently using the proxy settings in the Windows Settings UI (same as netsh winhttp show advproxy I believe) to redirect to Adguard HTTP server locally, but this sometimes causes problems with HTTPS connections not getting through. I have tried the netsh winhttp show proxy as well but it seems to be even worse with the basic proxy.

Adding UWP apps to Adguard itself is very tedious because the path to the apps changes on every update (thanks Microsoft), so things often lose protection.

Proposed solution

Allowing a wildcard path to Filtered Apps in Adguard instead of executable could fix the UWP update issues.

Alternative solution

As far as the proxy goes I think something with HTTPS filtering in the proxy is interfering with UWP apps. I'm gonna look at it with a packet sniffer and try to get more info on the issue.
