@Nzzyme Hello!

  • Did it start happening in v7.19 beta 2?
  • Could you please send the debug logs. Here's what we need you to do:
  1. Collect the debug log as it's explained here.
  2. Remember the exact time when the issue was reproduced. We will need it to find the corresponding records in the log file.
  3. Send the archive to qa@adguard.com and mention this issue number in the subject.

I have not been using AG for Windows before. Just installed a clean version of the latest beta. I must however mention that I also have Portmaster installed on the system. However, I have shutdown Portmaster and then tried to update the filters on AG and get the same error. Note that internet is working fine on the system as I was able to open web sites in the browser.

I have collected the logs and sent it.

The same/ Adguard updates correctly when I use VPN only.

То же самое с выключенным VPN. С включенным все хорошо. Снимок экрана 2024-10-02 091434

Hello @Nzzyme,

According to the logs, at the time of the check, there was no internet connection. Could there have been an internet issue at that moment?

Is there any special firewall settings that could prevent update?

Additionally, I noticed that you are using a non-standard DNS provider in the app settings. Could you check if the problem persists with the default DNS settings?

Am I correct in assuming that the device is a virtual machine? If so, could you see if the issue occurs on a physical machine as well?

Please also install this test build with additional logging: https://uploads.adguard.org/AdGuard-v7.19.4838.2.exe and collect the debug logs as described by @Aydinv13 and send them to us.

Thanks!

I think it was an issue with some incorrect settings which may have messed up with the updates. I just tried on a clean system and it worked fine.
