TunnelBear HotSpot Shield Hola PIA ExpressVPN shadowrocket
I want to use Shadowrocket !
@Vanjwu I didn't test it yet, wait 10-15 minutes :)
@gshumihin please test it with AirVPN.
@gshumihin also let's keep the resulting list in the issue description.
Well I tried AirVPN, but there is only chinese localization. So i wasn't able to understand whether it works or not.
Master Pro appears to be also compatible
Is OneVPN app compatible?
Shadowrocket compatible?
@Vanjwu no, only one of VPN services can be used at the same time: either Adguard or Shadowrocket
@gshumihin please test "Privacy Pro" by disconnect.
Privacy pro is incompatible. Noted as Disconnect Premium in table.
@gshumihin what about OneVPN?
I can't find OneVPN. Maybe this should be openVPN @evgeniy-ADG?
@gshumihin please test VyprnVPN
self-note: reply here afterwards: http://forums.macrumors.com/threads/ios-9-content-blockers-mini-reviews.1918483/page-37#post-23833339
https://itunes.apple.com/ua/app/a.big.t-a-smart-vpn/id1051326718?mt=8&ign-mpt=uo%3D4 - this one is incompatible, 1419096.
@gshumihin could you please also test for compatibility with ipvanish?
IPVanish and NordVPN can be be connected at the same time as Adguard in iOS. I am not sure if this makes them compatible.
I'll try to check listed apps tommorow.
@gshumihin could you please comment about ipvanish in this thread once you've tested it? https://forum.adguard.com/index.php?threads/16029/#post-112459
IPVanish and NordVPN can be be connected at the same time as Adguard in iOS. I am not sure if this makes them compatible.
They are likely to be compatible then, but we'd wait for @gshumihin to finish testing anyway
@gshumihin please test PIA as well
IPVanish and NordVPN have no trial period so I don't think its worth to buy it. What do you think @ameshkov ?
It is pretty ok for a VPN service to be paid, so why not trying it for 1 month.
Two more apps to test: PureVPN and Windscribe
@gshumihin
Would appreciate it if you guys could test Private Internet Access, thanks much.
User 1434457 wonders if it would work with Wingy. Could you please test it?
@Tetiana2020 could you link the app, please? There are two "Wingies" from two different devs. This one, I guess. What configuration is he using?
@vozersky please test betternet: https://www.betternet.co/
PIA appears to work
EDIT: Betternet also appears to be fine. Windscribe es bueno
@MatthewDev thank you for checking it!
@vozersky next time please comment on this issue once you finish with checking any VPN app. I see that you've tested everything, I just was waiting for vyprvpn result.
Windscribe, PureVPN, NordVPN are compatible
IPVanish VPN is also compatible
@vozersky we need to test Astrill VPN
F-Secure Freedome is compatible with Adguard PRO 1.2.0 - System Wide Protection ON and Adguard Family Shield DNS enabled . Tested just now. Will be sticking with this two for better protection.
@zznosar added to the list, cheers!
@ameshkov Astrill VPN is not compatible
Has SurfEasy been tested?
@ajgraves not yet, I guess we should add Opera VPN to the list as well
Anyone tried that with OpenVPN?
@henkgist as far as I know OpenVPN uses Network Extension framework just like Adguard, it makes it incompatible.
However, we'd better check it anyway.
Open VPN will not work. I used to have it with PIA OpenVPN configuration and credentials. Only one VPN can be used. Open VPN is not in the "Personal VPN" section. It's in the upper part with Adguard. Sorry I dont have pictures. I am using a different VPN set up now.
@zznosar yep, thanks for confirming it!
User 1544411 is wondering if he can use Adguard with True VPN - https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/vpn-true/id1102761272?mt=8
VPN Unlimited by KeepSolid is not compatible with Adguard Pro. It installs 2 VPN Profile which is weird and will mess up your internet connection badly!
Seems to be incompatible with VPNsecure as well, please check when you have time.
Just tested X-VPN and it is not compatible
Test PRO version for compatibility with most popular VPN apps.
Compatible VPN apps
Adguard can work without any issues with next apps:
Incompatible VPN apps
With next apps only one can use VPN (enabling one vpn disenables another):
