Parameter estimation for complex physical problems often suffers from finding ‘solutions’ that are not physically realistic. The PEUQSE software provides tools for finding physically realistic parameter estimates, graphs of the parameter estimate positions within parameter space, and plots of the final simulation results.
• Reproduce the CiteSoft crashing on Linux (with the CiteSoft example)
--> this is easy to do now because the Travis checks will fail. And all that is required is running one of the tests (I think 7) on the windows side.
o Find out how to read in a UTF-8 file with a BOM on Linux and implement it to stop the crashing
o It is likely if we specify the encoding as UTF-8 then maybe python on Linux will not crash when it sees this symbol
