UPDATE After cloning the repository once again, the installation runs fine. Unfortunately, the reboot fails and displays: "Failed to start Light Display Manager / DisplayLink Driver Service". The machine then starts to dump iwlwifi registers.
I have no access to the desktop and cannot remove the software!
How can I fix this?
Thanks in advance for any help!
Hi all!
I'm trying to install the driver on Debian 11 (Bullseye) and manage to successfully run a first install. At the end, I rebooted and checked whether the driver was running (--debug, see attached file). Unfortunately not... I then tried to Reinstall the whole stuff but the install script breaks on missing file:
./displaylink-debian.sh: ligne 462: /home/elcroco/Applications/resources/displaylink-installer.patch: Aucun fichier ou dossier de ce type
Uninstall won't work either and I'm left kindly asking support to clear the issue. I'd like at least to uninstall the software to get back to a clean state and run a fresh install.
Thanks in advance for any help!
