CEP 5 - CEP 9 : UI Libraries not Working on Mac In Embedded Angular(5) Panel in Premiere Pro #230

Context:

The project is an embedded panel in Premiere Pro (2018 + 2019) written using Angular 5. When tested on Windows, the package @progress/kendo-angular-grid works fine, but on Mac some features fail (grid column reordering and resizing).

When tested on the Chromium versions corresponding to the respective CEP versions, the demos at

https://www.telerik.com/kendo-angular-ui/components/grid/columns/resizing/

work as expected, but inside the embedded panel itself the features are broken.

Changing the CEP version itself does not seem to solve the problem, and neither does updating the package. Does anyone know anything regarding this behavior, and failing that, are there any other known instances of CEP embedded panels working differently on Windows and Mac?

Update: Boolean Control switches implemented using @progress/kendo-angular-inputs

are also failing. Once again, this is working fine on Windows but is broken on Mac. Conditions are the same as before.

Thanks for sharing your query, I have some follow up questions -

  1. We have upgraded our CEP Version to CEP-11 (which is based on CEF-88), which can be present in recent PPRO. Does this issue still occur with recent PPRO?

  2. Can you share with us the updated EndPoint / user / pwd and most updated extension to test this issue .

  3. Please share us the Video (or detailed steps) to easily reproduce the issue at our end.
