CEP10 - Illustrator - Windows 10 - Renderer Terminated #324

I'm having an issue where my extension is restarting when some part are activated. This was not a problem in the previous version of CEP 9/CC 2020. I am only able to reproduce this issue with Windows 10, MacOS does not appear to be impacted.

My extension is fairly complex, involving using the browser window to generate a frame, which then includes an internal enterprise application which I am unable to make available for debugging purposes.

I am able to load the enterprise web application successfully, and navigate to certain pages in the application. The renderer consistently crashes when working with a new form that includes a "\<input type="file">" I'm not sure if that is related or not.

The name of the extension is Teamcenter5. I generated all the logs with the logging level set to 6.

I've checked, and I have a similar issue with InDesign 2021, and Photoshop 2021, the CC 2020 versions work without issue.

@AndrewMore1 will check the logs that you have provided. In the meantime please do refer to the FAQ and migration guides available at : https://github.com/Adobe-CEP/CEP-Resources/blob/master/CEP_10.x/Documentation/Issues.md#faq

When I searched for Teamcenter5 on Adobe Exchange I could not find the extension. Can you please post the link from where I can access the extension?

And also the steps that I need to do with the extension to repro this problem. The logs are not helpful in this case.

I don't think I can do that for you. As stated the extension requires a complex enterprise application to be accessible, and that's behind our fire wall. I can give you a copy of the extension, but it's worthless without the application.

Hi Andrew,

For the particular problems that you're having (an enterprise use case, a multi-app extension) please contact Exchange Support at ccexchange (@) adobe.com and CC me, finnegan (@) adobe.com. There are paid support options, too. We'll figure out a different way to help.

Just wanted to follow up on this, we are still seeing an issue with this with the new CEP 11 in Creative Cloud 2021 on Windows using Illustrator.

I am still seeing this issue, and it's a problem in CC 2022, which appears to be using the same version of CEP as 2021. With the automatic removal of CC 2020 we now have no place where our Adobe Extension works correctly.
