Same here (Win Pro 7, PS CC 2014.2.1).
Just to let you know that I am looking into this so I hope to be in touch soon.
Just checked this on Win 7 and Ps 14.2.1. If I drag an image file into one of the sections then I begin to see the following:
What do you see?
Thanks Lea, this is what happens on Mac OSX 10.10 / PS CC 2014.2.1
Hi Lea, Thanks for investigating. Here's what I get (W7 64 bits / PS 2014.2.1 / 20141014.r.257 x64) : As you can see, it's like nothing happened at all !
Lea, from last comment "If I drag an image file into one of the sections " I understand that you were using an image file but not a PS Layer as expected from the sample name ;)
Actually, with an image file everything is OK - as in your printscreen - but when trying do drag/drop a PS layer from PS's layers panel to the HTML extension panel, nothing happens. HTH. Arnaud.
Yes the name is rather misleading :). I will look to resolve this. I am glad that it is working when dragging images. @undavide, do you experience the same?
Thanks Lea :) Anyway allowing drag/drop - to/from an HTML Panel and Photoshop (or other App) is major feature IMHO ! Hope you may be able to provide some example soon. Thanks again for your help and support ! Cheers, Arnaud.
Sorry for the awfully late reply Lea: yes, images D&D works, layers no way ;-) As far as I remember there's a panel called Doco (which I own but can't make it work anymore on CC2014) that uses Generator to get a Layer thumb and using it in the GUI.
Hello Lea ! Any news about drag/drop support for PS layers ?
Hello, Any chance to see PS Layer to panel working example ? Any chance to see panel to PS Layer working example ? Thanks,

Hi Lea thanks for the great sample you provided .Is there any new implementation of the drag and drop feature in photoshop ? Thanks in advance

Hi, what should the panel display when a layer is dragged onto the squares in the DnDPSLayer.html page? On my system (OSX Yosemite, PS CC 2014.2.1) there's no thumbnail, just the CSS .hover class applied. Thanks!
