Please use https://github.com/Adobe-Marketing-Cloud/aem-authoring-dialog-fields-customization/tree/master/src/main/content/jcr_root/apps/cqgems/customizingfield/components/colorpicker2 instead of https://github.com/Adobe-Marketing-Cloud/aem-authoring-dialog-fields-customization/tree/master/src/main/content/jcr_root/apps/cqgems/customizingfield/components/colorpicker. It seems that there's an issue with the first colorpicker script itself (the picker UI doesn't show up).
