In release notes 1.3.0 https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/commerce-admin/b2b/release-notes.html#b2b-v1.3.0
“When a merchant creates a shared catalog, permissions are now automatically set to Allow for the Display Product Prices and Add to Cart features in categories when the customer group is assigned this access in catalog permission settings. Previously, these settings were automatically set to Deny even when catalog permissions were set to Allow.
In the documentation on category permissions https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/commerce-admin/b2b/shared-catalogs/catalog-shared.html It seems to say that once the “shared catalog” feature is enabled, the “shared catalog” fully controls all category permissions so existing or new changes to the “category permissions” in the standard “catalog permission settings” are ignored. Changes to category permissions should be made from the shared catalog.
The “fix” in the release notes that seems to suggest you can still use category permissions settings to set permissions on shared catalog, where as the documentation suggests you cant, am I miss understanding this or is there a context for the "fix" that I am missing?
