Hello,

I am looking into a configuration where all binary data is saved using external storage (file system or s3). This documentation is helpful but it does not provide help to implement production ready architecture. Could we extend it with some additional info like:

how this should be configured for a regular AEM project with author and multiple publish instances ? Can author and publish share the same data store ? Can each publish use the same data store or maybe each AEM instance should be connected to separate data store ?
when multiple AEM instances are using the same data store will they duplicate the binary data or same file will be reused by each instance ?
when should we consider using custom data store? what are the pros and cons of using external data storage ?
