Why is Internet connection needed? #8

Hey!

I get an error after I enabled the stylus connection:

The Lamy Pencil connection cannot be established without internet.

Why do you need internet? And what kind of requests are you doing? Due to data protection regulations, we also need to know that the Lamy pen establishes a connection to an external server. We might need to edit the privacy policy as well just to integrate the pencil.

Hi @AlexanderThiele,

We need internet to update latest supported stylus models. If there is no internet, it will use default listing in the SDK. Once internet connection detected, SDK will update the latest stylus models.
