GPL violation? #6

If this software is released under the GPL, then you can't place further
restrictions on it. See:

http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-faq.html#NoMilitary

The Project Home page states:

Copyright: The software on this site is NOT FOR COMMERCIAL USE OR PROFIT - See the GNU General Public License.

The restriction on commercial use or profit appears to be a GPL violation, I'm
pretty sure you can't do that.

That's absolutely correct. Please correct your page to remove this statement,
it's incompatible with the GPL. It exists specifically to ensure as much
freedom as possible in my (re)use of the project, modification, redistribution,
sale, or integration with other components (either software or hardware) as a
commercial product if I so choose, as long as I continue to meet the terms of
the license by providing the source of the derivative work upon request.

(IANAL, please seek qualified advice on this to confirm)
