I got Error: SPI not found for operator 'BandSelect' while using S3.xml with SNAP 8 on a PTEP VM, Greenland August 1st.

The BandSelect issue is solved in SICE/SNAP8. Unfortunately, per-pixel geocoding does not work in SNAP8 so it only uses tie-point geocoding.

The SPI error should be solved by installing/updating the relevant toolboxes after installation of SNAP8.
