is there more than one version of the SICE readme?

this one is quite nice https://github.com/AdrienWehrle/SICE#readme

would users get confused finding more than one?

here's another nice readme https://github.com/GEUS-SICE/SICE_tools#readme

is that merged... anyway, it seems these two should be merged? or linked to reduce confusion... users should have one place to learn all... seems idealistic but is that the ESSD

The up-to-date SICE version (containing dev branches as well) is here: https://github.com/GEUS-SICE/SICE . This is the repository we should always point to and the one where we focus our efforts!

Are the readme's merged back to the main branch?

Are you asking if the README of the master branch of this repository is the same than the one in the master branch of https://github.com/GEUS-SICE/SICE ?
