Specifically, what AdvancedRocketry seems to do is make the default fog density unmodifiable. Using Fog Tweaker I was only able to change the color of the fog, but not anything else.
If there's a good reason for AdvancedRocketry to do this — probably having something to do with how the mod handles fog/mist on planets — then maybe just adding a config option to disable that would work, and be much appreciated :)

AdvancedRocketry for 1.12.2 seems to remove all fog/mist density effects from all other mods when it is installed. The mods I know this affects are:
