Sensor Data #5

Closed greenwell72 closed 2 years ago

Hi, I have an Ecowitt gateway which I am able to get the data into Homey. It however is only the gateway data and not the attaches sensors.( i have an external Ecowitt Sensor. Is there a way to get that data into Homey?

I guess you have tried to add the sensor devices? Could you go to More-Apps-Misol and Ecowitt-Configure App and select the Detected tab, then tap on Send. Also let me know what type of external sensors you have.

Hi,

It is the Ecowitt WH32D which is registered directly with gateway. When I go to Add devices this sensor is not listed. I would have assumed the associated sensor data would be sent after I added the gateway. I am getting data but only specific to the gateway and not the external sensor.

Ok, I have added a new device for the temperature and humidity meter. I will publish a new test version soon.

I have an GW1100 with two temp/humidity sensors (channel 1 and on channel 2). When I add the new temp/humidity sensor, I can only add 1, but the values shown are the same as my weather station and not those of the separate sensors. Any idea on how to fix this, and how to add multiple sensors?

Could you send me the log from the Detected tab in More - Apps - Misol and Ecowitt so I can see how they appear in the data.

wieling commented 2 years ago

Did that. Something strange happened though. I’m quite sure that yesterday I had temp1f, humidity1 and temp2f and humidity2. Apparently yesterday I set one to channel 8, and therefore you’ll see temp8f and humidity8. I did not see the other sensor in the log anymore though. Only when I changed the channel to 3, it was In the log you’ll therefore see temp3f and humidity3. However, when I set it to 1 again it did not update. And after a reboot of the gateway, it did not detect one of the sensors anymore.

Thanks! Martijn

I have published a new test version that should now cope with multiple channels of T & H sensors.

Thanks Adrian. This seems to work!

With kind regards, Martijn
