Open Barney1977 opened 1 year ago

Barney1977 commented 1 year ago

Today i installed 3 Axis camera's on my homey by using onvif app V2.0.19 Camera's go all offline after sometimes minutes, hours etc. app is shown as pauze. After restart it works again. I sent a logfile.

Also i see in app that the time of events is an 1 hour earlier then realtime. ( camera's are synct with NTP server ) and homey is installed on right location. ( can not adjust time )

I think I got your Diagnostics Log but it doesn't show any information. Could you try sending the log from the Configure App screen ?

Barney1977 commented 1 year ago

Done i guess.Maybe another idea?? Isn’t it possible to offer the option to switch on/off a camera by homey? And to switch on/off motiondection by a flow?Kind regards,Henk van @.:www.nsecure.nl Op 31 dec. 2022 om 20:10 heeft Adrian Rockall @.> het volgende geschreven: I think I got your Diagnostics Log but it doesn't show any information. It is possible to turn motion on and off via a Flow Screenshot_20221231_194548_Homey ONVIF doesn't support switching cameras on and off, but it is possible to disable the camera in Homey via the advanced options.

I don't see any image from you. If you replied via email then GitHub doesn't support attachments or images so you will need to insert it directly on GitHub.

I do not have that optionsMet vriendelijke groet, Henk van @.:www.nsecure.nl Op 31 dec. 2022 om 20:48 heeft Adrian Rockall @.> het volgende geschreven: It is possible to turn motion on and off via a Flow

I found it. Caused by bad translation of option info Dutch. What do you mean with advanced option? Met vriendelijke groet, Henk van @.:www.nsecure.nl Op 31 dec. 2022 om 20:48 heeft Adrian Rockall @.> het volgende geschreven: It is possible to turn motion on and off via a Flow

If you tap on the gear ⚙️ in the top right corner of the device details view, Screenshot_20230101_135351_Homey you will see a page that has an Advanced Settings button. Screenshot_20230101_135401_Homey In there is the is there is the Camera Enabled option. Screenshot_20230101_135409_Homey If the option is not ticked, the app will not check the camera.

Barney1977 commented 1 year ago

Since a few days this problem is back again. I thought it depends at setting in app. But it’s not ![Uploading image.jpg…]()

Is it right that app Version at my homey is still 2.0.19 within last updates? Or do i have to reinstal to get latest version? image

AdyRock commented 1 year ago

Add test to the app url in the store to get the latest test version.

Ok, I'm still getting crash reports that are totally useless for tracking down the problem. The frustrating thing is I can't get it to crash on any of my Homey's and I have been switching cameras off and on very frequently. For me, the errors are all handled as expected and the cameras are shown as offline. Could you look at the Information log in the Configure App screen to see if anything is reported in there? Maybe set the log option to Basic Information.
