Error getting connection with Connectivity Kit #173

Recently purchased the Connectivity Kit. With the TaHoma app, everything works. However, the connection to your app on Homey I can't get this to work. Apparently I need to activate "developer mode" but can't get it to show up in my account at Somfy. Contacted Somfy support and apparently that is not possible with the Connectivity Kit. They advise me to buy the Tahoma Switch. Have however read that the connectivity kit should be supported by your app on Homey. If send over the "device log" with reference 1413100092. Can you help me further please? Thanks a lot!

The developer mode is only available on Tahoma, but it is only required for local access. The Switch should work fine in cloud mode though. What issue do you see when you try to add a device to Homey?

Thx for your reply. When trying to add a device, I got the message "No new devices found" although a successfull logon. In the "Local tokens" log I get "Error: No Somfy bridges have been detected. Make sure the Developer mode has been enabled on you Somfy account. The Somfy bridge should broadcast it's IP and PIN via mDNS once the option is enabled." In the "device log" : { "devices": { "cloud": {}, "local": { "ip": null } } }

How can I solve this you think?

The no bridges detected is expected as that is only for local mode.

If you are not getting any detected devices then it's either because you have found the correct driver or the device type isn't supported. If you send the Device log from the app settings page, I will check what device types you have and let you know which driver to select or add support if it's not already in there.

Send over the "Device log" via the app settings page. I have 2 shutters named; logeerkamer and slaapkamer.

AdyRock commented 3 months ago

Can you try with the "Velux roller shutter(io)" device in Homey.

This was indeed the solution. In a few weeks, sunblind's will be installed in the porch and I will probably need you knowledge again. Thank you very much in advance Adrian! Kinds regards, Chris
