Hi, in the PF2e system the "size" in the actor sheet handles the token dimensions, so even if changing token dimensions in the token config it will remain the size set in the actor sheet.
Describe the solution you'd like
Adding a "size" dropdown setting in the token variant image config that would change the size of the actor. That would allow for shapin in tiny animal ability for example to work with pathfinder 2 system.
Describe alternatives you've considered
Allow to link Rule Element from the pathfinder 2 system to a variant image, there is a RE to change size so that would fix the issue but also allow for a lot of possibilities since RE from pf2e system can do a lot of things like add/alter attacks to the actor, add bonuses etc that would allow to change completely the actor with the switch of image without needing to have multiple actor to link to each image.
