Thanks @Jaaaky Of course, there are different modeling philosophies. In the current philosophy, sweep is a rotation of the wing rather than a translation. This is why the y-span is affected.
I understand that this is not always the best and can mess up the outboard sections.

Hi, Using sweep angles dimensions - wing span or propeller diameter for example- are changed despite setting "Chord perpendicular to" y axis. Knowing that the app miss the "offset" option like found on xflr for example, and having to set sweep angles manually, this problem makes it very difficult to modify anything and get expected results, usually one has to re-do everything. sweep angles should not change dimensions specially when "Chord perpendicular to" y. If offset option is added as alternative to sweep angle it'll make it easier. But actual span/diameter length should be not be affected by other parameters any way. Using version 4.25
