Agenda:

17:00 - 17:30 - Hop in the meetup, say hi and introduce yourself. We will have a quick chat before the presentations begin. 17:30 - Presentations ??:?? - And right after the presentations, we will have an open panel for discussions. Below you'll find a few themes that have been mentioned in the community and on the previous meetup. Any other additions brought before or during the meetup are very much welcome.

• Is there something you'd like to present?

Open discussions:

• What's needed to get Rust embedded support for microcontrollers like Cortex-R. We briefly went over Cortex-R on the last meetup - an arm microcontroller family for real-time & safety-critical applications. #22
• What do you think about all the new space communities using (or not) Rust
• ....

Each speaker will be given the option of whether they would like their talk recorded and made publicly available on YouTube.

After the talks, the meetup will also have online discussions - these will not be recorded.

I see a lot of new communities using Rust for smallsats lately and even other areas so for me it is exciting to hear your thoughts about them. So I've added a topic for the discussion after the talks:

Discussion: What do you think about all the new space communities using (or not) Rust? ...what about all the private and public entities?

I'm scheduling the next meetup for 4.11.2021 (the first Thursday of November) but if you have other preferences please let me know.

Afterwards, we can have an open discussion about anything related to space :rocket:.
