particles disappear after loading screen transition #245

This bug affects the fast_graph branch, and this relates to issue #232. The console offers the following GL errors, which may be related:

Error: WebGL: drawElements: bound vertex attribute buffers do not have sufficient size for given indices from the bound element array mgrl.js:4942:13

4bdb606cdd2285c33c07bfd873a2ca1f60d76161 adds a GL debugging mode that should hopefully make this a little easier to figure out.
