Label the least value of each column 100%, and label the others proportionally. 
Click a value to make it "the new 100%".

This was a feature of the old web app, which we can debate; I for one like it 
and have found it useful.

I never liked it much.  I found it moderately confusing and it took up quite a 
bit of space.  I'd support it as an optional feature - click this button to 
enable a billion extra columns.  :-)
