Although somehow date is stored so you can search by date in the log viewer, it 
would be 
very useful if the date would appear in the history brought back in the 
conversation window

There are some issues with this one in terms of how to implement it. We cannot 
change
the date/time stamps in the theme, but we COULD just insert a EVENT line (the 
darker
lines that are not messages) about the new date reached in the log.

Thats about all i can think of right now.

Why can't you change the date/time stamps in the theme?

I've decided to just output a event line that tells you what date the entries 
are
being displayed for. it needs some tweaking but at least now it tells you what 
it is.
