Pledge $250 or more: Premiere! All of the above: All the stuff, all the credit, all the sneak peeks – and on top of it all you get to see the film before everyone else! With the AfricaHackTrip crew in Berlin (travel cost paid by you)!

Pledge $500 or more: Double the credit! You get all of the above – and we will put your logo in the front credits of the movie!

Pledge $1000 or more: Producer Wow, you just funded a fifth of our whole campaign! We don’t really know what to say except we’re going to send you a whole bunch of good stuff! And you have the seat of honor at our premiere!

I would prefer if we keep down the actual physical swag to stickers and shirts (and DVD, yes) – what we had ourselves. The caps were not dedicated caps but just our own ones with stickers on them. We remixed them, and so should everyone, instead of all getting the same cap.

ok, this is not very constructive.. could you come up with ideas you like, and not just talk about stuff you dislike? change what you dislike for something you like, maybe..? that'd be great :)

I just said: Let’s not have any caps. Alex said: Let’s not have DVDs. Both seems reasonable to me.

And there’s already a whole bunch up there, 6 different levels is pretty good. What we should do is also give the perks names and a short sentence to describe them. (I’m editing the original post)

assuming that the logo will be similar prominent as the logos of our current sponsors: can we give out the logo at 500USD? or do we have some special logos at the beginning? (if so we could add this also to the perks)

@EmiMaj how much are the t-shirts? (wondering how much is left after buying the shirt, printing it, and sending it to - let's say - USA?

I like everything except logos in front credits (what front credits anyway? If you have front credits, that's usually only the most vital people and companies for shooting the movie). Could we drop that, please?

I wouldn't even put logos in the normal credits. Can someone name example movies where that has been done, and in a tasteful way? I can't think of a single one with random company logos in the credits.

Actually quite a few movies have logos in the credits - but at the end. We could say they can only be black/white to make them less "disturbing". I would also say that would be for the $500 level and they should be limited to a few. Maybe there can be one logo in the beginning for the $1000 level.

Other changes I would suggest:

• start at $1, not $10
• fewer gifts, i.e. either post card or stickers at $25 - ask @EmiMaj if she actually is willing to write those cards (maybe just remove the post card entirely)
• only 1 or 2 t-shirt colors to make it more manageable
• for the premiere: say that it's in berlin and people have to pay travel costs
• swap the $250/$500 levels so that we have fewer logos in the credits and more people at the premiere

Once we have agreed on the gifts we should calculate the total cost and add that to the 5k video production cost.

I could also set up a Bitcoin wallet and we can add that to the campaign text. The "Dark Wallet" project was on Indiegogo as well and they did that without problems. I could just copy exactly what they did, if nobody objects.
