setup a planet like aggregator for hacktrip related blogs/feeds

The more I'm researching about the trips and related topics the more blogs, twitter accounts etc. I'm discovering - obviously ;) I was setting up planet-like aggregator as an addition to our tumble blog. What do you think? Is that something you still do in 2012? ;)

fyi: was experimenting with paper.li http://paper.li/Bumi/1350460305# but I don't really like it: too less configurable and too much focus on the "editor" (user created the page)
