Hi Ian, I assume this is for the source finding container ?

Hi. That's probably a sensible place for it. I mainly use it for rendering images for remote viewing, including intermediate products during a data reduction, so it'd probably be most useful (personally speaking) inside the kern-2 container. It's not critical though, the visualisation step can be done at the end.

montage would be a useful addition to the source finding container as well imho

I've successfully built this in my home area and everything seems to work when I just add the build location to my path, so please feel free to close this.

We have now added montage to the latest source finding container.

I'll ask gijs to include it within kern as well.
