I would like shapefiles and OGC standard shapes to be available for plot definition #321

Please describe your request. Is your feature request related to a problem? Currently BETYdb is the only way to get plot geometries. Adding additional means of specifying plot geometries increases flexibility of solutions.

Describe the solution you'd like A way to specify shapefiles, geojson, or other sources of plot geometries.

Describe alternatives you've considered N/A

Additional context BETYdb provides additional information outside of plot boundaries, such as germplasmName. The removal of BETYdb from processing requires defaulting values, specifying needed value through alternate means, or both
