Hi @AgentD, I am wondering if it wouldn't be a great idea to also add Debian packages scripts as found here: https://packages.debian.org/source/sid/squashfs-tools-ng

Hi @renard, as you can see, I merged your recent pull request with the updated spec file and packaging scripts.

I'm not sure how useful it is for downstream distributions, since the larger one usually have their own mirrors a patch set on top. When I took over maintaining mtd-utils in 2016, I actually removed the RPM spec file, since it became outdated over the >10 years and all the RPM Distros shipping it had their own, derived versions.

At least for now, the RPM spec file here is very useful as this project is rather young and not widely packaged. I'm not familiar with many other Distros (I'm on Fedora myself), but I figure it should in theory shrink their patch sets.

Anyway, thanks for the effort of collecting and organizing the various packaging scripts, as well as the RPM spec file!
