NFR Issue: unclear term #17

Open Agentum07 opened 3 years ago

NFR: A user with above average typing speed for regular English text (i.e. not code, not system admin commands) should be able to accomplish most of the tasks faster using commands than using the mouse.

What is above average typing speed

Team's Response

Hi thanks for the input. We are referring to someone who can type faster than average. This NFR serves to guide our team when designing our app -- ie we should keep in mind that users should be able to conveniently get most of their things done via typing.

Reason for disagreement: How do you quantify above average typing speed?

My acquaintance types 15 WPM, is that "above average"?

I grew up in a house of tech. Everybody I know types above 50 wpm. So is "average" 50 wpm?
