Hello!
I think ATV is in this case short for Apple TV, right? I am running XBMC and
this
script on an Apple TV and it works like a charm! It is outstanding!

I hope the 2 of you can help each other out, because I do not have a MAC, so
cannot
really test this. Let me know if it works or not.

Sure! First off, I assume you have XBMC on your Apple TV? Otherwise check this
out:
http://xbmc.org/wiki/?title=XBMC_for_Mac_on_Apple_TV I can recommend having XBMC
loading at boot, since I do not use anythin else but the XBMC :)
After that it is "just" a matter of installing XOT. However this is a bit tricky
since the filestructure is not the same as other units (I have used XBMC on
Xbox and
Windows).
When you installed XBMC on the AppleTV you got ssh access as well. If you use
SFTP
(FileZilla Client has this feature) you can FTP through ssh.
The XBMC home is then located at /Users/frontrow/Library/Application
Support/XBMC
Put the XOT files in the script folder and you should be good to go!

Hi Tobias,
Yes i have XMBC and Boxee on the Apple TV. I installed XOT already yesterday, i
did
the same as you said today in your instructions. Thanks for that!! I was
wondering if
i did it right, cause i have to start XOT from within the scripts menu. Somehow
i was
expecting it would be inside video. Can you confirm that this is the right way
to
start XOT?
Anyway the script is working and that so great!! Thanks Bas, cause having
uitzendingemist working is another great feauture on the apple TV!! You should
change
the XMBX treat with Apple TV support. I am sure a lot of (dutch) people are
waiting
for this to work.
I will try to get it working on Boxee, there are some instruction on the net
from
last year which i give a go tonight. Personally i prefer boxee above XMBC.
Thanks guys for the help!

Nice to hear it works. I will add a list of working items on the googlecode
page and
add some instructions there.

Yes, you have to start XOT from the script menu, but this is the same for all
XBMC:s
regardless of the hardware (atleast I think so?).
It would be great to have a TV Streaming item beside Video, Music etc, but that
is
maybe a feature for the future :)

TV streaming? What do you mean with that?

Maybe not the best name. But to actually have XOT in the first menu would be
great,
not having to go to scripts first and then activate XOT.

I think that is something you can tweak one of the skin xml files.
