watchPosition not working consistently on iOS #423

Description

Currently, the background location is not working consistently on iOS. On some devices, the app will fetch the background location but on other it will not. All devices we use for this test where iPhone 13 or later, running latest iOS (17).

Anyone else having the same issue?
