Pouch of Salt is the Angel Room equivalent to Black Powder, and is thus more focused on defense rather than offense. Similar to Black Powder, Pouch of Salt must be spread out into a particular shape: in this case an inverted triangle (think Godhead).
One active, the salt will form a glowing white rune with a pattern similar to Godhead (without the center eye) which will "banish" all enemies in it, preventing them from entering the triangle. Additionally, any bullets or lasers which enter the triangle will be blocked as if it were an obstacle. However, if Isaac leaves the triangle, it will disappear immediately and cannot be reentered unless another is spun.
