Drilled a hole into the tee for the drop tube. We were able to attach it to the slider of the lever arm and connected the pieces together as shown in our pictures below. The tee is not secured tightly so it can freely rotate.
We will need to install an injection tube into the first flocculation pipe for the coagulant dosing. This will be done by:
The reason for doing this is because we need to make sure that the coagulant is injected in the middle of the flocculation pipe. This is so there will be adequate mixing of the coagulant with the water, and stop it from just sticking to the side of the pipe, if it was injected directly without the clear rigid pipe.
3/29 Sung Min and I tried to do this today, but there's work being done on the drain (see #15) so we were unable to get the measurements we need to figure out how long to make the drop tube. We found a barbed fitting though! Hurrah.
The team plans to go through one coagulant run before the end of this week so an update will ensure on Friday!
