I'd like to here you thoughts on see your sketches of the test apparatus.

We have a 3d printer in the CEE shop that you can work with Paul Charles to print the extraction system. One option is to print an extraction system that can be inserted into a clear 4" diameter PVC pipe. That would be relatively simple to fabricate and it would be great if you could schedule your work so that you can test this next week.

Happy to meet to help you brainstorm and move to design.

That sounds great! Is it possible you can meet with us today, basically as soon as you're free at 4:10? We can meet with you in the design lab.

We 3D printed a model and have fit it into a 4 inch diameter PVC pipe. We are going to test it with just water first, then add sand and find failure velocities.

Great! Have you created a sketch of your experimental apparatus that you will use for the test. I recommend this and I'll happily review it if you like.

We are working on a sketch on Onshape, but right now we are testing to see if the apparatus is watertight.
