Create plant integration logic #44

This was Monroe's thoughts on 1-5 Lps plant design logic:

  1. Elevations are key and I'm hoping we can lower the entrance tank and stock tanks.
  2. Entrance tank max water level is LFOM head loss (10 cm) + 10 cm free fall + flocculator head loss (50 cm) higher than the water level in the sed tank. Water level in the sed tank is freeboard (10 cm) below the sed tank walls. (Currently have 1.216 m between top of sed tank wall and top of entrance tank wall. I believe this elevation difference should be 70 cm.)
  3. Chemical tanks outlet is 10 cm (for catching sediment) above the bottom of the tank. The drain can be in the center bottom as shown.
  4. The sump walls can be the exact same height as the sed tank walls
  5. The bottom of the flocculator should be on the floor which is the same height as the inside bottom of the sump. Note that this design keeps the flocculator height as a function of the sed tank height. If the sed tank gets deeper the flocculator pipes get longer too.
  6. The flocculator should wrap around to the corner between the sump and the sed tank.
  7. The lever arm is mounted on the wall of the entrance tank.
  8. The constant head tanks chemical level is at exactly the same height as the chemical discharge point on the lever slider when the lever is horizontal.
  9. The bottom of the chem tanks are at least as high as the chemical level in the constant head tanks. Note that this elevation difference can be smaller than we use for the larger plants because the head loss for flow through the orifice in the float valve is much lower.
