Disc Image File Corrupted #7

I'm unable to mount the .img file due to a persistent error across multiple computers in which the image file is corrupted. How can I fix this?

Thanks very much, Gavin

You do not want to "mount" the .img file. You will use the .img file within Cypress Control Center to flash it into the EEPROM of the Miniscope DAQ PCB.

Hi Daniel,

I just bought V4 and have the same issue. I downloaded the Miniscope_DAQ_256K_EEPROM file and installed Cypress SDK. Could you please explain what you mean by "You will use the .img file within Cypress Control Center to flash it into the EEPROM of the Miniscope DAQ PCB."? Currently, my miniscope is detecting nothing using an example config file. I assume it is because the firmware is not properly installed.

Thank you very much for your help!

Hi @APNeuro, If you got your DAQ from OEPS or LabMaker it generally should come programmed and tested. Either way, if you want to re-flash the DAQ firmware to the DAQ follow the steps outlined here: https://github.com/Aharoni-Lab/Miniscope-DAQ-Cypress-firmware/wiki/Uploading-Firmware-to-DAQ.

Let me know if you have any additional questions or issues.

Hi Daniel,

Thank you for the prompt response! The wiki instruction was a bit unclear, but now it makes sense. I bought it from OEPS, so I don't need to set up the firmware.

Do you have any idea why I do not see anything on the recording software? I loaded an example config file and can change LED intensity, gain, etc. However, I see nothing and am not sure whether focusing is working.

Thank you for your help!
