This project focuses on aiding the visually impaired to better interact and map their environment. Allowing both visual interpretation, and obstacle avoidance systems.
Using 3D point cloud data, detect and specify legal paths (places user is able to walk towards). While the 3D print may create an XYZ grid, not all coordinates signify accessible areas to walk so there is a necessity to separate open and non-open areas.
