new/old layout switch

i would suggest adding such option to preferences with default new setted.

or just make it detect tablet - new layout
smartphone - old layout

new one is basicly unredable on i9000

I seem a lot of complain and suggest, I am going to change back to old layout. 
the new layout will only work with table.
