UG does not mention GPA calculator format #9

The UG does not mention that the GPA calculator in on a 5.0 scale. Some universities have a 4.0 scale. So either mention that is a 5.0 scale or mention that it is for specific university students ( eg. NUS)

No mention to a specific university:

Team's Response

image.png The tester seems to be not reading the DG carefully. The product scope is for NUS students for which the GPA is out of 5.0 scale.

Items for the Tester to Verify

 Issue response

Team chose [response.Rejected]

Reason for disagreement: It seems the developer misunderstood the role of the DG and the UG. While mentioning the Product scope is benefitial for a developer might want to work on this product in the future, It is also necessary for user's of this application to know the scope, particularly for the GPA calculator. A vast majority of universities follow a 4.0 gpa system and not mentioning what system your application uses to calculate the GPA to your user (Not Developers) in the UG qulaifies as a bug:

## Issue severity Team chose [`severity.VeryLow`] Originally [`severity.Medium`] - [x] I disagree **Reason for disagreement:** When the user is not explicitly told what scale the calculator is following, its leaves alot for them to infer and essentially requires them to do trial and error to find out. It can also just provide students who expect a 4.0 scale (given that is the norm for many students) with a inaccurate gpa on the 5.0 scale. This is definitely not just a cosmetic issue and can possibly render the GPA calculator unusable for students who are not from NUS, or any other university that uses a 5.0 scale
