Change and Add MongoDB Functions

Our current MongoDB-related functions do not accomplish all of what our software requires. We need to modify or add new functions that would fit our purposes for future issues.

Some functions include:

• Finding a user in the database by email
• Checking if a user exists in the database
• Updating information of a user by email
