This project is the first project I have done in my Industrial Engineering education life and it is about optimization methodologies.
The project aims to minimize the total distance of the routes created to collect the bus drivers from their homes. In order to solve this problem, vehicle routing problem with weight capacity, a mathematical model was developed. This mathematical model was run with GAMS Program which uses all solvers such as the Cplex algorithm and Gurobi algorithm. As a result, 19.3% efficiency was gained compared to the current system.
