A9G board not responding to AT commands from terminal #435

Hello,

I´ve connected the board to a micro usb power source, connected the usb-ttl serial RX and TX cables to the TX and RX pins (respectively), launched ai thinker, sent AT commands and nothing is happening.

SIM card is in place (tried it on another phone and it calls, receives calls, sms etc)

Also, when I press power button on the board, LED is not turned on.

Tried with factory firmware, tried with custom firmware (tested on other boards), tried with firmware from this site: https://www.instructables.com/id/A9-GSM-GPRS-Pudding-Board-AT-Commands-and-Firmware/

I´m running out of ideas here ...
